“MUTO” comes from Latin and has the meaning: change. Change in today’s society, changes in our creative, cultural climate and the change that might comes about thanks to developments in our local scene.

A change that seems necessary to represent our creative climate truthfully. MUTO stands for a truthful representation of the creative climate in our current society.

 

The range of other art forms is not lacking. Think of the various museums, theater halls, dance schools, poetry collections and beautiful buildings. However, we believe that this is not enough. We experience that other art forms (besides music) are becoming less and less part of the daily life of our inhabitants. (Novum, 2013)Take, for example, this period in which many livestream initiatives arise. This mainly focuses on electronic music, Yoga and gardening (Watch, 2020).

 

However, this does not mean that these three topics are our only daily routine. We therefore looked for the creativity that is less presented in this online era. This quest has led to a landscape of artists who stand to share their thoughts, inspirations, materials, techniques and projects.

 

MUTO Studio is the platform that gives these artists the opportunity to share their creative positivity with everyone who is open to it.
