ENTRY & HOUSERULES
BRET welcomes anyone to enjoy our food, beers, staff, events, and environment with an open-minded and respectful attitude towards one another. If there is anything on your mind, please let our staff know.
All are acts are based on the up-to-date guidelines advised by the Dutch government.
ENTRANCE & SECURITY

BRET reserves the right to search its visitors during a club event. If you refuse this, entry will not be granted access. Bags can be searched at all times.

DRUGS AND WEAPONS​

Access will be denied if you are in the possession or under influence of any kind of drugs or alternatives with the same purpose or if you have weapons or items that can be used as a weapon. We remain the right to hand the goods and you over to the police.

The possession and distribution of drugs is not allowed. Any drugs that are found will be handed over to the police and can be a reason to deny the visitor entry to BRET. We reserve the right to hand the person in question over to the police.

DRESSCODE​

BRET loves seeing its guests in their own personal style and thinks it's important that people feel free to wear what they want. Under this dresscode however uniforms, suits, formal shirts, joggers, clothes with offensive texts and costumes are not included and you will risk the refusal of entry. Besides that bare feet, slippers and heels are not allowed.

DOOR POLICY​

The atmosphere is a priority at BRET. Guests should be well informed about the event they attend. You may be questioned on this matter and if we think this is not the case, we can refuse entry. We may also refuse entry for large groups of people, bachelor parties, etc. (groups maximum size of 4 people!)

A pre-bought ticket won't guarantee entrance if you won't follow our door policy, house rules, or having any disrespect to our staff or guests, or if we think that you're not a match for the ongoing event.

SOMEONE HARASSED ME OR MADE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE, WHAT DO I DO?

We want everyone to feel safe in BRET, so we do not tolerate violent behavior, opposition, discrimination, intimidation, sexual or otherwise.

Please let our staff immediately know what happened, so that they can help you out. We are here for you. If you would like to talk about it after the event, please send an e-mail to events@bret.bar. We value your safety and the safety of others so don't hesitate to ask for help.

CLOAKROOM​

Using the cloakroom or a locker is obligated. You will receive your goods back after showing a valid cloakroom ticket. When not able to fulfill this expectation, you must wait until the end of the event. Furhtermore, we kindly ask you to bring as few belongings as possible to keep the workflow within the cloakroom as efficient as possible.

I LOST MY TICKETS WHERE CAN I FIND THEM?​

No worries. We can re-send the ticket(s) to your e-mail address. Send us a DM or e-mail to ask for a resend.

PICTURES​

We prefer real-life interactions. That is why we like to see as little phones on the dancefloor as possible. Leave it in your locker!

BRET utilizes a no-flash camera policy and we do not accept any professional camera equipment without permission.

VALUES​

BRET is a club for open minded people who want to party with like minded individuals. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, annoyance, or (verbal) violence. We want people to feel at home and safe. If you for some reason to not feel safe at BRET at any time of your visit, please inform our staff. They will kindly help you in any way they can. We also value musical diversity, which means we love to combine genres and mix different types of music. Expect to be surprised at BRET.

CAN I BRING MY OWN CONSUMPTIONS LIKE FOOD OR DRINKS?​

Unfortunately, you can not. Ask our staff if you really need to hydrate or need to eat. We will always try to take care of you.

There are some things you better leave at home if you are planning to visit a party at BRET: food and beverages, any liquids (including perfumes and deodorants), medicine (unless you are able to showcase a doctor's prescription for it), suitcases, and backpacks. We do not keep hold of any confiscated items and you will not receive them back.

MINIMUM AGE​

The minimum age to enter BRET during a club event is 21+. You will be refused entry if you do not show a valid ID-card or passport.

DOORSALE​

The entrance for ticket sales can be closed at any time, while the party itself still lasts. This counts both for door sale, as well as pre-sale tickets. Full is full. Yet, the guestlist will be able to enter at any time.

CIGARETTE MACHINES & SMOKING

BRET does not sell any kinds of cigarettes or other tobacco products. You yourself are responsible for bringing your own cigarettes.

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the inside area of BRET. That includes the smoking of cigarettes, vapes, joints, and any other smokable products. Please use the dedicated smoking areas outside the building. When caught breaking this rule, we reserve the right to kick you out right away.

LIGHTS AT BRET​

Lights used at events in BRET may be dangerous to people who are epileptic or have had a stroke in the past. So take good care of yourself and each other, know if you or your friends may have a particular condition that may be affected by lighting. BRET is not responsible for any harm inflicted.

RESPECT OUR NEIGHBOURS

Finally, whilst leaving BRET be aware we have neighbors so keep the noise to a minimum and do not hang around outside BRET.
